Mid-season ripening variety

Origin: Created in 1986 by crossing Belorusskaya sladkaya and hybrid C-106.

Recommended for growing in steppes, forest-steppes and Polesye

Yields: 10 tons per hectare  

Extremely high stable yield, high self-fertility, combined resistance to fungal diseases, bud mite and leaf gall midge, drought resistance, easy to grow.

Tall semi-spreading shrubs. Shoots are thick, with elastic short internodes.

Medium sized thick racemes compactly placed on the shoot.

The berries are quite large, uniform, with average weight of 1.7-2.1 g, larger are 3.2-3.6 g, elongated, black, glossy. Elastic but firm skin, which is not broken while the berries are being picked. Greenish – brown thick pulp, moderately fragrant, with sour-sweet taste - (4.25-4.5 points), containing: solids - 13,92-15,26%, sugar - 9,82-10,24% acids 2,14-2,48% pectin - 1,48-1,72% phenolic compounds - 342,24-451,14 mg, vitamin C - 218,42-242,16 mg per 100 g of wet weight.
Berries ripen at the same time, almost simultaneously. One of the best varieties for fresh consumption, as well as for the processing and making high-quality products (jellies, juices, wine stock) and for freezing.
